計劃目的 Project Objective

「廚餘再生俠」處理系統先導計劃﹝計劃﹞旨在在鄉村推動智能廚餘回收服務，收集居民日常的廚餘。計劃獲環境及自然保育基金資助，於上水鄉及金錢村安裝「智能廚餘回收箱」﹝回收機﹞供居民放置廚餘，並設有回收獎賞活動鼓勵大家參與；同時，計劃會定期舉辦環保推廣日、工作坊及環保參觀團，讓居民了解更多廚餘回收的重要性。

The Pilot Scheme on“Food TranSmarter Pre-treatment System” is aimed to develop household food waste collection service in rural area. The project is funded by Environment and Conservation Fund. “Smart Food Waste Collection Bin” is placed in Sheung Shui Heng and Kam Tsin Village to collect household food waste daily. Residents will be rewarded according to their participation. There are regular Recycling Promotion Day, Workshop and Environmental Tour to enhance residents’ knowledge of food waste recycling and its importance.

本計劃更會應用了全港首個可自動將廚餘液化成漿液的「廚餘再生俠」處理系統，液化後的廚餘會送到政府的有機資源回收中心(O･Park I)轉化為電力，其產出物更可變成堆肥作種植用途。

The project uses Hong Kong’s first ” Food TranSmarter” Pre-treatment System, which automatically pre-treats food waste on-site into slurry. Then the slurry will be transported to the Government’s Organic Resource Recovery Centre (O・Park I) for generating electricity and converting into organic compost for planting purposes.
